Introduction

We endeavour to ensure that all our visitors can enjoy the facilities and surroundings within our park.

Our aim is to help in any way that we can and if you require any assistance during
your stay all whilst planning your visit, we will be happy to assist.

To do this we take time to discuss individual needs with each person that contacts us.
We are a small family run park with limited resources and some needs are not within our
power to fulfil.  Others we have thought about and can meet.

Pre-arrival

Trekenning Tourist Park caters for caravans, motorhomes and tents.

Our website has full details of park facilities, local attractions and a booking form.

A clearly worded brochure is available and can be posted to you on request,
along with a copy of this access statement.

We can be contacted by email, fax or telephone.

We would be happy to advise on the location and suitability of our pitches to meet your needs.
Specific pitches or areas can be requested when booking and we will
do our very best to meet those requirements.

Arrival and Car parking facilities

The park is accessed via a security barrier, which is operated by entering a pin number.

There is a parking area at the reception office.
There is a slight slope, which leads to the reception door via two steps,
which has a handrail on one side.
The reception door has a width of 80cm and the reception counter is 1150cm high.

Public Areas

Gravel and some tarmac roads service all parts of the park with speed ramps.

There is a speed limit of 5mph on all areas of the park.

The park is situated on one field overlooking the countryside.

The Park

The park has centrally located facilities

The male and female toilets and showers have steps up to the entrance doors.

The second toilet and shower block has individual unisex facilities
and can be accessed by wheelchair users.

There are two full size bathrooms, which include a bath.

The park has six waterpoints strategically placed around the park,
plus an additional with a reel hose attached for refilling water tanks on motorhomes.

Dishwashing facilities are situated at the rear of the unisex toilet and shower block.

We have a chemical disposal point but no drive-over dump for American R.V’s.

Bar and Games Room

Access to the bar and games room is via a gravel lane, which has a small gradient.

The bar has a selection of different tables and chairs, which can be removed on request.

The conservatory and decking area adjoining the bar and are all on one level.

There is one set of shallow steps from the decking to the bar toilets.

Leisure facilities

The swimming pool is accessed via a high gate, which is kept closed at all times
and cannot be opened by small children.
The pool is elevated and is surrounded by a grassed area.
There are tables and chairs available in the pool area with some sun loungers.
All facilities are all well signposted with a clear and readable font.

There is a children’s play area.
The surface of the play area is sand.
The area contains swing, slide and climbing frame.

Additional information

Mobile telephone coverage is generally very good.

There is a good bus service approximately half a mile from the park.

Local shops are within a mile.

There is a laundry on the park, which has one washer,
one dryer, spin dryer and ironing facilities.
There is one step leading up to the laundry room.
